A small quaint place. Feels like being at your auntie's house. There are rice cookers in plain sight. Very homestyle food. Had the Singapore Mei Fun. It was okay in taste, but probably could use more curry to give it more flavor. Also tried their much touted dumplings, which is their best selling item. They were okay, but I didn't like the skin being so thick....but that's usually the way aunties make it. My preference is the thinner skin. Seating is scarce, so I suggest takeout. It's a super tiny place, with some low counter seating along the walls of the small dining area. Surprisingly they have a write up in the New York Times, touring their dumplings and it was a long time in the making before opening this store. Service. Everyone working there was super nice. Decor: a hodge podge of ingredients and cooking equipment, decorate the dining area, similar to like being at your auntie's house.

Excellent hole in the wall mom and pop operation. You're here for the food and not the ambiance. The place sits maybe 4-5 people max. The mom of the operation is adorable and offers a real homey kind of experience. Everything we have tried here has been excellent. Great spot if you're in the area and don't mind a no frills experience.

The short: as soon as you walk into Mama's Noodle House, you can feel the food is made with love. If you sit and eat, and come back a second time, mama remembers you & you feel like you belong in her restaurant. Can't recommend this spot highly enough - everything is delicious. The longer: this is a relatively small spot, but mama has tables and chairs and will set you up if you want to sit down and eat, but it seems many also do takeout. Simply, everything I've eaten has been delicious. All the dumplings and wontons -- especially the fried dumplings and the hot & spicy steamed dumplings -- are incredible. Their noodle dishes (dry) are next level. Their soup broths are incredibly flavorful. They even make their own lemonade! You should definitely come here if you're in the area!

Woww this place has really delicious food and excellent flavors, this little out of the way spot has been rated by the NY Times and is DEFINITELY worth a visit! We tried the Hot Pot Fish, Beef Stew Noodle Soup, Hot & Spicy Wonton, Curry Fish Balls, Beef Stew with Minced Pork Paste and fried pork dumplings. OMG everything we had was amazingly delicious, the dumplings anf potstickers are fantastic, their spicy minced pork is sooo good you'll understand why it's a closely guarded family recipe, these chefs know their flavors! We're really look forward to coming back and trying their other menu selections.. A mom and pop shop. The owners super welcoming and would greet you with a smile every time. Love how they make me feel like I'm at home when I'm there. Scallion pancake is extra crispy and it's so good The minced pork noodles: might be a bit spicy for some individuals but to me it's delicious. One of the dishes that I always order. beef stew basil ho fun: the beef stew is tender and has the right amount of flavor every time. Hot and spicy fish: everything in this dish is delicious. The veggies that come with it on the bottom after soaking up all the flavor is so good. Overall this place is delicious and service is excellent. Would recommend this to my friends and family!!!

I'm fairly surprised I forgot to review what has been one of my favorite pandemic gems. This tiny little hole in the wall is run by the sweetest couple-- the husband stays behind the wok and the wife is gregarious and takes care of taking orders. Mama's Noodle House, even during the pandemic, was always busy with takeout orders and on my most recent visit, I am happy to report that nothing has changed (except for a very minor price hike). Some of my favorite things to order include the minced pork noodle ($8) which comes with cilantro and bean sprouts, and a healthy heap of their housemade chili oil atop fresh, chewy handmade noodles, and the basil beef stew ho fun ($11) which is a spicy stir-fried dish of housemade flat rice noodles (ho fun), onions, peppers, Thai basil, and tender chunks of beef brisket. Don't skip on their honey lemon drink ($1.50) either which is quite possible the BEST honey lemon drink I've ever had. The owner showed me the secret, which is to soak lemon slices in a honey syrup mixture.

The restaurant is the size of a shoebox. I'm surprised at how much food they're able to crank out. Not only because of the size of the restaurant but because it's essentially a 2-person business. The husband and wife are cooking, taking orders, handling payments, everything. I would like to see them have more cooks or help, but honestly, this restaurant won't fit it. The rice cooker is out in front of house by where customers sit and eat lol. I did have to compete with people waiting in store and the pile of online food orders. So even though I ordered ahead of time on the phone, I still ended up waiting 45 minutes for my food when I got there. I can't blame them really because they're so popular, but if I didnt witness how swamped they were and how small the space was, I'd definitely be upset. The lady gave me a drink on the house for waiting too. The food was absolutely amazing and affordable though. The spicy Minced Pork Noodle was out of this world. Highly recommend that.
